Installing ROYGBIV for Revision. 9th-17th March 2005
Thankyou to: Adam Kay: Artist Assistant
Yoke and Zoom were invited by Lalite Stolper to install a temporary public art work for the old infirmary, Worcester. U.K. The building had been empty for around 3 years and is semi derelict. Yoke and Zoom reappropriated the Georgian facade in a listed building by installing a horizontal rainbow three stories high. The work was lit from 6pm -11 PM and could be viewed from infirmary walk (WR1) between 17th March-1st May 2005. The purpose of the project was to bridge the gap between the previous use of the building as a city hospital and its future use as part of University College, Worcester. If you viewed the art work and would like to feedback on it please email us.
