Sept –Oct 06. Commissioned by University of Worcester to produce a report to identify sites for art on the new campus.ACE Award
June- July 05 Commissioned by Public Art West Midlands to produce case study for their website.
May-July 05 Cloverfield. Project managed and produced work as part of international collaboration culminating in a major solo/collaborative show in London. Project growing four leaf clovers in units designed specifically for the project with Danish Art/Design group N55. To be exhibited at Cell Project Space, London. Funded by Arts Council England.
March-May 05 ROYGBIV.Devised and installed temporary public art work. Reappropriated Georgian facade of the Royal Infirmary building, Worcester.
Dec 04-Jan 05. Art machine multiples distributed at The Lowry, Manchester and Ale and Porter (Art Gallery) Dorset.
March-May 04 Artmachine multiple project for Multiplus at Saltburn Art Gallery. The Artmachine is a condom vending machine filled with artboxes containing international artists' multiples.
July-Sept 03 Set up and installed Artmachine in Rice+ gallery, Tokyo as part of artist-in-residence programme funded by the Arts Council. Later installed at Nadiff gallery, Tokyo. Featured on the British Council's Tokyo website. Set up dialogue with Taito Corporation regarding future public art project based on 'Space Invaders' 25th anniversary.
June-Aug 03 Roadrage. Public art project. UK road sign featuring information on the Battle of Shrewsbury. Originally commissioned by Visual Arts Network (VAN) as a temporary sculpture to commemorate 600th anniversary of the battle. Fabricated and installed by JDM Accord and later acquired by the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery for their public art collection.
April-Oct 03 Glorious Revolution. One minute audio work featuring our son reading an excerpt from Orwell's 1984. Made for Radio Radio - a 24 hour radio broadcast curated by Mel Brimfield at International 3, Manchester and The Trade Dept, London.
Jan 02-Jan 03 Grit and Determination, Public art project funded by the Arts Council of England (ACE) as part of a Rural Response Award. Six pairs of grit bins fabricated by Linpak Environmental. One labeled GRIT, the other DETERMINATION, were placed in six roadside locations in rural Worcestershire .We worked with four district Highways Depts and Raynesway Construction Ltd who selected sites where local residents had asked for grit bins and helped with installation.
Yoke and Zoom work was shown as part of the Blood gallery tour in Bethnal Green: , Cell Project Space. Wednesday, June 22nd 2005, 6.30pm. Blood delved into the East End for its end-of-season event, right into the heart of London's most dynamic gallery scene in Bethnal Green.
Yoke and Zoom are currently setting up Movement, an artist led project space on platform 2, Worcester Forgate Street station. In April 2008, we will be artist in residence at New Art Gallery, Walsall. Images and further information for all projects are available on website www.yokeandzoom.com
